Strong trends have been recorded by stock prices at today’s stock market meeting, with the market closing over 1,600 units, amid a positive climate in European markets and a positive Wall Street opening, boosting the rise of technology shares, after the temporary exception of smartphones and computers.

From high capitalization, the shares of Mytilene, Titan, Alpha Bank and Eurobank were overwhelmed.

The General Price Index closed at 1,625.77 points, with a strong increase of 2.73%.

Overall market capitalization increased by EUR 2.8 billion compared to Friday’s meeting.

The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 152.76 million, with 33,444,200 shares.

The high capitalization index rose 3.23%, while the mid -capitalization index was up 1.34%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Mytileneos (+7.97%), Titan (+6.82%), Alpha Bank (+6.66%), Eurobank (+5.38%), Aktor (+3.44%) and Greece (+3,25) were recorded.

On the other hand, the shares of EYDAP (-1.24%), AIA (-0.54%) and PPA (-0.40%) fell the biggest decline.

The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 9,666,893 and 7,951,243 shares, respectively.

Ethniki was the highest value of trading with € 22.45 million and Alpha Bank with € 20.06 million.

89 shares were on the rise, 21 declining and 10 remained stable.

The shares rose the most: Fais Group (+10.33%) and Unibios (+9.06%).

The shares were the biggest decline: Minerva (-6.00%) and Attic editions (-4.39%).
