Several days after Easter, the beneficiaries’ accounts will be credited to the May 2025 pensions, contrary to the initial expectations for payment a few days earlier than the holidays.

E-EFKA issued a statement with all payment dates.

The announcement is recalled that the date of payment is for the employees the penultimate working day of the previous month and for non -employees the last fourth business day of the previous month.

It is noted that pensioners, in an effort to push the government to pay May 2025 before Easter, held a rally in the Constitution last week.

Payments in May 2025 per fund, all dates

Non-employees will see the main and auxiliary pensions of May from E-EFKA on Friday, April 25, 2025. In detail, they are paid:

The retired OAEE.
The pensioners OGA
The retired EBRD.

On the same day, EFKA pensions are paid for those who are retired (employees & non -employees) from 1.1.2017 onwards (Law 4387/2016). Also, on Friday, April 25, 2025, the auxiliary pensions of the private sector (non -employees and employees) are paid.

On Monday, April 28, 2025, payments to the main and auxiliary pensions from E-EFKA to the Non-Employees are taking place. Specifically:

IKA pensions – ETAM
Pensions
Temporary Armed Forces, Security and Fire Brigade pensions.
NAT and KEAN pensions.
ETAP SME pensions.
ETAT pensions, CCEPGO and TSP-ISAP.
PPC and OTE pensions.

On the same day, Monday, April 28, 2025, the auxiliary pensions of the State are paid.

Finally, OPECA will put on May 2025 of uninsured elderly on Wednesday, April 30.

These are the last (time) pensioners to go to the ATM. Note: Money is available from the previous working day, in the afternoon, usually after 17:00.

Why were they unable to get in money earlier

It is recalled that the government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis had been placed on the issue of payment dates in previous days, making it clear that pensions would be credited to the accounts of the beneficiaries on dates that were predetermined and not the Holy Week.

“If they were paid this week, there would be a long distance from next month,” he said.

It is recalled that both the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Niki Kerameos, and the EFKA commander, Alexander Varveris, explained that May 2025 pensions were impossible to pay before Easter, as the system itself could not be technically ready.

Also, if the pensioners’ request was accepted, at least 40 days would be mediated until the next payment.
