The Competition Committee, in accordance with the law, for the acquisition of National Insurance by Piraeus Bank, was in a public announcement.

Notification of the acquisition of exclusive control by the company under the name PIRAEUS BANK SA On the company Ethniki Holdings S.à.RL and, therefore, the company under the name SA “NATIONAL”.

Public announcement of business concentration

(Article 6 par. 6 of Law 3959/2011, as in force)

1. On 04.04.2025 the intended acquisition of exclusive control by the company under the name “PIRAEUS BANK SA COMPANY” (“Piraeus Bank”) on the Luxembourg company under the name “Ethniki Holdings S.” was notified to the Competition Committee.
