On the occasion of the further upgrading of the Greek economy by S&P, the Vice President of the Government Kostis Hatzidakis made the following statement:

“While some insist on questioning any progress that has been achieved in the last 6 years, one investment firm after another is upgrading the Greek economy.

S&P, which we awarded the investment level last year in the Greek economy, today has further upgraded.

For me personally it is particularly important to underline S&P of the budgetary prudence that characterizes the government’s policy, as well as the recognition of systematic effort to limit tax evasion in recent years“, Points out the deputy prime minister and adds:

“Further upgrading the Greek economy within the S&P investment level, especially in a period of international turmoil and uncertainty, is yet another proof of the international investment community’s confidence in the government’s economic policy. It is a success not only by the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, but as a whole of the Greek people“, Concludes Mr. Hatzidakis.
