Until April 30, the tax return that ensures a discount of 4%- the points that require attention
Chrysostom Chufi
Two and today for those who want to take the first step in securing the 4% deduction of their income tax.
They must submit their tax return by April 30 and then pay the tax – not in a lump sum – until July 31.
The same is true for those who have already submitted their statement – either themselves or the HRAD for them by submitting the pre -filled statements on Friday – and subsequently found errors or omissions. If they want the 4% discount they must correct them by submitting an amendment to Wednesday.
From Thursday until June 15, they enter the 3% ‘zone’ and if they submit their statement (initial or amending) between June 16 and July 15, the discount will be 2% – we always talk about those who pay tax until July 31.
The pre -paid statement is not a panacea against mistakes. Even now that the pre -filled statements have all been submitted, AADE recommends taxpayers to check them out why the devil who “inflates” the tax is hiding in the details. And especially in the codes for the wages and pensions paid to the taxpayers and the interest of their deposits.
“Wound” for many presumptions and according to taxpayers, most of those who see increased income tax belong to the category of those who cannot cover them. There are nevertheless solutions such as capital consumption or some donation or parental benefit.
The analysis of the data for the rate of tax returns so far shows a historic record. 2.9m. Natural Persons in 40 days !!!
46.24% – 1,339.656 statements – are zero
28% – 811,790 statements – are debit and have already been confirmed by € 1.17. The average tax they are required to pay is 1446 €.
1/4 statements – 745,734 statements – has a credit clearance with the average tax refund amounting to 285 €.
As has been the case in the last 2 years, those who have received, have taken their money literally in the aftermath. Already the overwhelming majority, 94.8%, ie 615,549 taxpayers, have already received their money.
Tax refunds to taxpayers without tax or insurance debts or free of charge are sent to the Bank of Greece for immediate return on a weekly basis. In this way, 441,848 taxpayers have been paid.
In terms of tax refunds to taxpayers without tax information or debts, offsettings are centrally on a weekly basis on the basis of April 5-6. 169.847 were paid in this way.
Those who cannot be centralized will not be carried out in the shortest possible time by the competent services, without the taxpayer having to submit any tax return request. 4,854 are currently falling in this category.
According to the practice of AADE, income tax debts will be offset as priority with refund rights, which exist or will be born until July 31, so that in the event of the repayment of the income tax through offsetting, the tax deduction is not lost for the taxpayer.
