The turnover of the accommodation work in the first quarter of this year was on the rise, as opposed to the catering services that saw their turnover decline in the same period.

In particular, according to data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) for the first three months of 2025, in all businesses in the accommodation industry (sector 55 of the NACE registration 2), the turnover amounted to EUR 488,405 thousand, increasing a 7.5% increase over the first quarter of 205. Euros.

In contrast, in all businesses in the catering industry (sector 56 of NACE Registration 2), the turnover in the first quarter of 2025 amounted to EUR 1,843,912 thousand, declined by 7.6% compared to the corresponding period last year, where it was EUR 1,996.044.
