More than 1800 real estate sales are estimated to be completed last year in Halkidiki, with buyers in the category of less than 150,000 euros outputing and homes being the most popular real estate category (68.7% of total sales from the real estate agencies).
The investment and the acquisition of a holiday home are the main market reasons, with the first home following, while the buyers are dominated by the Greeks, followed by the inhabitants of Northern Macedonia, the Bulgarians, the Albanians, the Serbs, the Greeks, the Greeks, the Greeks.
The above comes from the annual real estate market research of the Halkidiki Real Estate Association for the period January-December 2024, which was carried out in a sample of 41 brokers of the body.

The houses were the overwhelming majority of real estate sold by brokers (68.3%) followed by Earth (26.8%) and professional (4.9%). About three in ten (28%) respondents acquired a property betting on its commercial use, while 27% bought it as a cottage, 12% as a first home, 1% to use it in short -term lease and equal percentage to rent it long.
In terms of real estate, the market seems to prefer the new ones, but not too old. Used real estate aged 11-20 years are dominated by a large difference in the sale (25% of the total) and follow those of 21-30 years (12%). 5% for each category is appointed in used one to one to five and six to ten years old, while new real estate sales do not exceed 7%. About 2% concentrate used over 30 years of age. According to brokers, the main challenges in the market relate to high real estate prices, which are the main obstacle to sales, the Paranasia and the Land Registry, with difficulties on legal and bureaucratic issues. In terms of 2025, the majority of brokerage survey participants (52.5%) estimates that the market will stabilize, 37.5% that it will move upward and 10% to follow downhill.
The majority of Halkidiki’s real estate agencies are active in Propontis, Sithonia and Kassandra. They are primarily for small businesses with a broker. Only five offices employ more than four people, while the share of the brokers in the total sales approaches 25%._
