Remove the notification of the payment account number (IBAN) in the VAT statement for VAT statements from 1/7/2025, is provided by Decision A. 1077/2025 of the Independent Public Revenue Authority Commander, George Pitsilisin order to accelerate the completion of VAT refund requests.

The IBAN registration in the AADE Register, and not in VAT statement, is now becoming a prerequisite for submitting VAT declarations that include a tax return request. If IVAN is declared in the register the first time a VAT refund is requested, it is not required to declare it to subsequent VAT refund requests.

Ivan can be declared:

• At Myaade Digital Portal (myaade.gov.gr), on the registry route & contact> IBAN account statement

• In the application for MYAADEAPP portable devices by selecting contact information> IBAN.

Especially those wishing to register an account held outside Greece or SEPA countries (36 countries and regions: the 27 countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Agios Marino, Andoras and Vatican) In the application my requests of myaade digital portal.

To facilitate return beneficiaries, today there is a special request on the platform my requests on the route: Revenue, Returns & Deletions, Information> IBAN Account Statement in Countries Out of SEPA for refunds

At the same time, my requests are abolished in implementation the request for a Greek IBAN or IBAN declaration in a SEPA country, as they are declared exclusively through the application of a registry & communication of the Myaade Digital Portal or through Myaadeapp.

Furthermore, the same decision provides for adjustments to the word VAT statement, following the entry into force of the new VAT Code (Law 5144/2024).
