Mild upward trends have been recorded by the stock prices at today’s Stock Exchange meeting, with the market closing at a young age of 15 years.

At the heart of investment interest is the HELEX stock, in the wake of the Euronext acquisition proposal. It rose 15.42% while 2,692,429 shares were handled, worth € 18.49 million.

The General Price Index closed at 1,893.97 points, up 0.47%. It is the highest closure of the April 21, 2010 meeting (1,936.43 points). Intra -conference approached 1,900 points and recorded a higher price at 1,897.11 points (+0.64%)

The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 307.24 million, with 65,514,800 shares.

The high capitalization index rose 0.44%, while the mid -capitalization index rose 0.62%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Viohalco (+6.26%), Elvalhalcor (+3.63%), Motor Oil (+2.60%), Jumbo (+2.41%) and OPAP (+2.00%) were the largest.

On the contrary, the shares of ELPE (-5.80%), PPA (-2.28%), Sarantis (-1.41%) and Coca Cola HBC (-1.07%) fell the biggest decline.

The ELPE stock negotiates without the right to a dividend of 0.55 euros per share.

The largest volume of trading was presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 26,830,752 and 12,448,937 shares, respectively.

Eurobank scored the highest transaction value with € 79.73 million and Nationals with € 40.95 million.

58 shares were on the rise, 42 declining and 23 remained stable.

The shares rose the most: HELEX (+15.42%) and Mouzakis (K) (+9.76%).

The biggest decline was recorded by the shares: Intralot (-6.03%) and ELPE (-5.80%).
