AADE auditors carry out continuous checks to determine – among other things – if businesses issue evidence, whether they have interconnected POS with cash registers and whether they transmit the evidence to the AADE E -SEND.

In total, from June 1st to July 15th, 9,140 checks were carried out throughout the Greek territory, with special targeting of popular summer destinations and in tourism business sectors.

3,120 companies with tax offenses were identified, and in 87 of them, mainly from the catering area, the suspension of 48 or more hours was imposed.

In addition, there were 173 cases of non -cash -cash interconnection, with a total amount of fines of EUR 2,310,500.

More specifically:

In June, 6,045 checks were carried out, with a delinquency of 36.16% and a padlock imposed on 52 companies, of which:

-Cafeteria in Heraklion, Crete, for non -transmission of evidence, worth 275,000 euros (hypotropic)

-Carpery of carpentry manufacturing in Paros, for non -transmission of proofs, worth € 111,000

-Super market in Gythio Laconia, for non -transmission of tax data, worth 101,000 euros.

On the first 15 days of July, 3,095 checks were carried out, with a 30.17% offensive and a padlock imposed on 35 companies, of which:

Catering businesses in Serres, Chania and Rethymnon for non -transmission of tax data worth 102,000 euros, 21,500 euros (1,700 receipts) and 26,000 euros (3,700 receipts) respectively.

All abusive companies are checked for their overall tax behavior over time.
