As noted in the Ministry’s announcement: “This regulation, based on Article 10 (4) of Law 5219/2025, aims to provide financial relief to natural persons and businesses that have suffered damage to natural disasters, such as fires, earthquakes or floods. The exemption from the Single Property Tax (ENFIA) applies to the tax year in which the disaster took place, as well as for the next two tax years. The exemption applies to buildings with the relevant land, for which a dangerous autopsy protocol has been issued or re -exposure to the competent services of the General Secretariat for Restoration damaged or temporarily unsuitable for use. Regarding the parcels and buildings on them, the issuance of a certificate of destruction by the competent Department of Rural Development and Controls (TAEE) is a prerequisite, based on the data provided by ELGA. “
