At a slightly higher level, the stock market was closed at today’s meeting, but remained below 2,100 points. Bank stock liquidations were offset by interest in other Blue Chips, with the shares of GEK TERNA, OPAP and Lamda Development overflowing.

The General Index closed at 2,097.22 points, with a marginal rise of 0.06%. Intra-conference recorded lower price at 2,083.38 points (-0.60%) and higher at 2,102.17 points (+0.30%).

The value of the transactions amounted to € 194.25 million, with 33,274,412 shares.

The high capitalization index declined 0.01%, while the middle capitalization index was up to 0.58%.

The titles

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Lamda Development (+3.70%), GEK TERNA (+3.31%), OPAP (+2.94%) and Sarantis (+2.61%) were the largest.

On the other hand, the biggest decline was the stocks of National (-1.66%), Alpha Bank (-1.39%), Metlen (-1.10%) and Viohalco (-1.06%).

The largest volume of transactions were presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 7,296,883 and 5,083,694 shares, respectively.

National with EUR 28.37 million and Eurobank with € 24.93 million was the highest value of transactions.

72 shares were on the rise, 40 downstream and 16 remained stable.

The shares rose the most: Mathios Pyrimala (+29.87%) and Vidavo (+9.76%).

The biggest decline was recorded by Papoutsanis (-3.47%) and Trastor (-2.99%).
