‘Hot’ state money to ‘set up’ their own business will have the opportunity to re -claim thousands of unemployed: the amount they can secure is shaped by 17,500 euros and will be paid in three installments. One of the conditions set is the preparation of a plan by an interested party, which will be considered to allow the venture to be viability.
In the autumn, a new round of the DBA program is expected to open, which aims to enhance the unemployed entrepreneurship up to 29 years of age:
The new notice will emphasize the participation of women, which are almost 2/3 of the registered unemployed, but also on vulnerable social groups, as well as to residents of less developed areas, such as Western Macedonia.
The process of submitting applications and beneficiaries
The application is submitted electronically through the State Aid Information System (www.ependyseis.gr), together with the business plan. The evaluation is carried out through the same platform, under the responsibility of DBA.
Conditions that interested parties have to meet:
- Be unemployed and registered in DBA
- To have completed the process of personalized approach and to have agreed to an individual action plan
- Be a Greek citizen, a citizen of a Member State of the EU or the expatriate with the right to reside and work in Greece, or a third-country citizen with a current residence permit
- Men to have fulfilled or legally relieved of their military obligations
- The business to operate legally within Greek territory
What kind of business is funded
Beneficiaries can create:
- Individual business
- Command Company (OE)
- Limena Company (EU) as a partners
- Limited Liability Company (EIA)
- Private Capital Company (IKE)
- Workers’ Cooperative (Article 24 of Law 4430/2016)
- Individual businesses are required to have been set up by former unemployed.
The amount of funding
The beneficiaries of the action will be reinforced by an amount of EUR 17,500 will be given in three installments:
- 1st dose – 5,000 euros: With the start of activity
- 2nd dose – 6,000 euros: After the first semester of operation
- 3rd dose – 6,000 euros: After the second semester
The duration of the grant is set to twelve (12) monthswith the start of the date of starting business of the business.
In the previous circles of the relevant DBA programs, almost 10,000 beneficiaries have created coffee and fast food stores, to physiotherapists, tutorials for children with learning disabilities, diet centers, as well as innovative start-ups-such as a Ticket Seller.
