The United States is ready to impose new energy sanctions on Russia, but only if all NATO Member States stop buying Russian oil and implement similar measures, US President said Donald Trump.

EU trade with Russia

The share of oil imports from Russia decreased from 29% in the first quarter of 2021 to just 2% in the second quarter of 2025.
Natural gas
Russia’s share of EU gas imports decreased to 12% in the second quarter of 2025 from 48% in the first quarter of 2021.

Fertilizers
