Filed today, in accordance with the deadlines, Draft Budgetary Plan (DBP) 2026 from the State Treasury in the European Commission.
DBP confirms the budgetary sizes of 2025 and 2026, as reflected in the draft budget 2026, which was submitted on 6 October 2025 to the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the House. This also confirms the international community, the continuing high growth provided for 2.4% for 2026, the significant boost of investment and the implementation of significant reforms, as well as the implementation of new important interventions for the benefit of citizens, such as structural tax reform for children.
At the same time, DBP includes all budget measures as announced in the past and have been reflected in the draft budget 2026, and the implementing reforms that are consistent with European priorities are also detailed.
The DBP also records as a result of the government’s new budgetary measures, the reduction of both poverty and tax burden on citizens.
