by

After Petrobras’ mega-increase in fuel prices, Sem Parar registers a new distribution in the preferences of consumers who use the tag to pay for vehicle fuelling.

According to the company, before the increase, 70% of people who use Sem Parar as a means of payment at the gas station preferred gasoline, and 30% chose ethanol. In the last 15 days of the month, this division was 55% for gasoline and 45% for alcohol.

The changes in consumer behavior registered by Sem Parar in reaction to the fuel boom began on the day the increase was announced, according to Sem Parar.

The company says that on that day, just before the pump prices turned around, it had a record supply through Sem Parar, with more than 30,000 transactions.
