In the procedure opened by the Federal Public Ministry (MPF) to monitor the investigation of the crash of the aircraft that caused the death of singer Marília Mendonça, the agency wants to be informed —even before the investigation is concluded— if risks to traffic safety are identified air.
Concern was raised because the plane hit a cable at the electricity distribution tower in the region.
The MPF decreed the secrecy of the administrative procedure, following the Sipaer standard (System for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents).
Days after the aircraft crashed, the Civil Police from Minas Gerais found a cable wrapped around one of the propellers, and Cemig, the state energy company, confirmed that the plane hit the equipment, which was outside the protection zone of the aerodrome in the municipality of Caratinga (MG).
