Daughter of actor Johnny Depp, 58, actress and model Lily-Rose Depp turned 23 last week and celebrated with her followers on social media. She is the result of the relationship between the artist and his ex-wife Vanessa Paradis.
On Instagram, she shared two photos wearing a “birthday princess” sash and another photo of a bouquet of flowers. She has worked on shows like “Wolf”, “Voyagers” and “Silent Night” and is currently working on The Weeknd’s “The Idol”.
The young artist celebrated her birthday last Friday (27), the day that Depp and the lawyers of his ex-wife Amber Heard, 36, made their closing arguments in the defamation trial that began on April 11. The verdict is expected this Tuesday (31).
The jury, made up of seven people, began deliberation on Friday afternoon. The trial focuses on a lawsuit the actor brought against Heard, who wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post in 2018, saying she had become a “public figure representing domestic abuse”.
Depp and Heard tied the knot in February 2015 in an intimate celebration on their private island in the Bahamas. During the trial, the actor recalled that Lily-Rose did not attend the event, which had about 25 guests. “My daughter Lily-Rose didn’t attend the wedding. She and Mrs. Heard didn’t get along very well, for a variety of reasons,” he said.
