In the previous episode, his family Happy Traveler began a dream trip to Andros. However, as Andros is the second largest island in the Cyclades, one episode was not enough. That is why on Saturday, June 11, she continues her journey to the beautiful island, exploring everything she did not manage to see in the first part.
Eftychis and Electra go to the west of the island with the village of Stenies and the holy monastery of Agia Marina which looks like an impregnable fortress. They hike on the river Achla to see a stone arched bridge that for a while will make them feel that they are in Epirus. After a short walk, parallel to the river water, they face the impressive waterfalls in Gerolimni Achla.
They lead to the interior of the island, passing through impressive landscapes with picturesque settlements while on Kypri beach they meet windsurf champions who make one of the most impressive and innovative versions of surf that looks like they are floating above the water.
They go for a walk in the picturesque Batsi in the light of day and night which is even more picturesque. They continue, admiring the west coast of Andros which has the oldest settlements of the island. They visit the picturesque Korthi in the south where they see historic buildings, try the most famous recipe of Andros and explore the famous beach “Tis grias to pidima” with the emblematic rock in the water.
Finally, they climb to the most impressive peak of the island, the upper castle of Andros or otherwise the castle of Faneromeni. At this point, the view, the location and the view of the ruins of the ancient city on the rocks make happy travelers name the place “Machu Picchu of the Cyclades”.
