As every year, writers from the Ibero-American world (Latin America, Spain and Portugal) are invited to participate and reconcile with their counterparts from Greece in the various planned activities.
Under the auspices of the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou is the 14th organization of LEA Festival (Literature in Athens), to be conducted by 14 to 24 June in Athens and on June 17 and 18 in Lefkada, on June 17 in Chalkida and on June 18 in Nafplio.

The activities of the Festival will be hosted in various cultural facilities in the city of Athens: the Acropolis Museum, the Benaki Museum, the Cervantes Institute of Athens, the Iberian and Latin American Language and Culture Center Abanico and the Janos, Public and Polyg bookstores. At September 30 will be awarded the Literary Translation Award of the LEA Festival to the translator, translator or translation team that will have performed during the immediately preceding calendar year, according to the date of publication of the work and its registration in the VIVLIONET database, the best first translation or re-translation of a literary work (novel , a collection of short stories, a play, a collection of poems or an anthology of one or more poets) written in Spanish, Portuguese or Catalan.
