Singer Thaeme Mariôto, 36, from the duo with Thiago, told followers that she intends to sing songs by singer Marília Mendonça (1995–2021) with the return of presentations and shows, with the scenario a little more stable from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The sertaneja asked fans in her Stories which songs they would like to hear in the duo’s voice in upcoming shows. Among the requests, songs from the Queen of Suffering emerged and Thaeme guaranteed that she would sing her songs.
“I’m sure there will be!” he said. “She will always be honored,” added the singer. Marília Mendonça tragically died in a plane crash on November 5, at the age of 26. She was one of five victims of a plane crash that fell into a mountain range in Piedade de Caratinga, 309 kilometers from Belo Horizonte.
In mid-September, Thaeme announced the birth of Ivy, her second child with Fabio Elias. The singer posted photos of the baby on Instagram. “Spring has arrived and with it our newest love (and what a love! ️). I can only thank you for all the affection with our family!”, he wrote in the caption.
Thaeme announced that she was expecting her second child on April 1st. She and her husband, Fábio Elias, who has been married since 2015, are already parents of Liz, 2.
