Simaria denies the end of the duo with Simone, but says that her sister ‘recriminates’ her

Singer Simaria, 40, vented and talked about her relationship with her sister and duo, Simone, 38. In recent months, the artists have had some disagreements in public and, recently, they faced a climate on stage, after a delay by Simaria for a show.

The singer said that, despite having a great experience with her sister, she ends up feeling reprimanded by her at times. In an interview with columnist Leo Dias, she recalls when the audio of a discussion between the two on Programa do Ratinho (SBT) was leaked on the web. “It was my cry for help.”

“Everything I’m going to do is reproached by Simone. Do you have any idea what it’s like to spend 20-odd years of your life being told to shut up and not be yourself?”, questioned the singer. About the delay of more than 1 hour at the São João de Caruaru show, she stated that, despite her sister’s requests, she was unable to catch the flight.

“I couldn’t fly, for health reasons, due to a lot of stress. Tired of a lot of work and responsibility on my back. I don’t have to go through this anymore, arriving late for a show because of bad logistics”, she continued.

“I don’t need to do 30 shows in a month, I don’t need to starve and go all day without eating like I was that day,” he added. Simaria also stressed that she has a different business vision than her sister. “One is very enterprising and the other is fine.”

Finally, the artist ruled out that the duo will break up for now. “If Simone and I have to change our careers for all that, to have brotherhood and peace, we’ll change. On the day that Simone and Simaria want to end their careers, it will end beautifully.”
