The actor’s official spokesman denied what was heard about discussions with Disney.
His fans Johnny Depp were excited when they discovered that the actor was allegedly in talks to return to Pirates of the Carribean after his dismissal from the franchise in 2018. However, it is unlikely that the star will return to his iconic role as Jack Sparrowas the official spokesman stated that these are just rumors.
In fact, he denied allegations that Depp had talks with Disney about “$ 300 million deal” and told NBC News: “This is made.”
Depp has starred in five Pirates movies for the past 15 years and did what is believed to be his last Black Pearl trip to Dead Men Tell No Tales in 2017.
However, a source told Poptopic that the actor is in discussions with Disney for a deal, after winning his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard.
A source, in fact, revealed to Daily Mail that Disney is interested in improving the relationship with Depp and recently contacted him. They said: “They contacted the actor before his defamation trial against Amber Heard and asked him if he would be interested in returning for another pirate film or two.”
