The Drone Show in the context of the events of SNF Nostos Festival 2022 at the premises of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation was supervised by the CAA.
The events of SNF Nostos Festival 2022 at the premises of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (ISN) were successfully completed, where for the second year this year a spectacle was held in the Attic sky with the participation of 360 drones.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) oversaw the entire process, from preparation and testing to the official performance, to ensure the safety of unmanned aerial vehicles.
At the event, the drone formations offered a unique spectacle to the audience that watched the impressive event. The 360 bright drones formed in the night sky of the area symbolic images in a pioneering aerial choreography related to the theme of the SNF Nostos Festival 2022 event that focused on health.
For the smooth running of the drone show, thorough rehearsals preceded as each drone had its own mission and all together automated with software operated in a safe zone to avoid security problems.
The Commander of the Civil Aviation Service, Mr. George Dritsakos, stated about the drone show: «Indeed, this year’s show far exceeded everyone’s expectations and the Attic sky was filled with magical designs. The Civil Aviation Authority is by the side of every project and we extrovertly encourage such important events. Starting last year with the first drone show and with the holding of this year’s show we had the opportunity to hear the views of the spectators who attended the event and were excited.
