The Henry Holt publishing house confirmed that the book «Madly Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman» will be on the shelves of bookstores on October 18, with Variety reporting that the English actor “He wrote his diaries with a view to their future publication.”

Written from the early 1990s until his death in 2016, the notes completed a total of 27 volumes, which will now be published in a book outlining a “portrait of a famous actor, political activist, enthusiastic traveler and devoted friend”.

The book gives readers access to his thoughts and knowledge about theatrical performances, the art of acting, politics, friendships, work plans and general thoughts about life.

“Madly, Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman” was written in such a way that readers would feel as if Rickman was talking to a close friend.

His co-star in the films “Sense and Sensibility” and “A Little Chaos” by the late actor, Kate Winsletwrote the book ‘s prologue, while Rima Horton’s widow wrote the book’ s epilogue after Rickman’s last post in December 2015.

Rickman, especially for the younger generations, left his mark as a Snape professor at Harry Potter.

Alan Rickman died of pancreatic cancer in January 2016 at the age of 69.
