Klara Castanho, 21, made her first publication on the night of this Wednesday (6), after saying she was a victim of sexual abuse and donated her newborn child. On social media, the artist shared a click of a landscape and revealed in a short text that she is doing psychological counseling to overcome the trauma. She also warned that she has a team to “preserve her rights”.

“The last few days have not been easy, but I wanted to come here to thank you for every word of love, affection and welcome that I have received and have been receiving. All this affection has been very important to me and I needed to share my gratitude with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Klara began.

She still went on with her story. “I know that many of you are worried about me, but I want to say that I’m taking care of myself, doing psychological follow-up and I’m still surrounded by professionals who are working to preserve my rights”.

The actress also thanked the support and concern of friends and fans. Klara also mentioned her professional colleagues and journalists. “I want to thank the serious and responsible press, which has been respecting me during this moment”.

Klara’s drama became public in an open letter released on June 25. She reported a rape suffered and the process of adopting the baby as a result of the violence. “The delivery was protected and confidential. Being a parent does not depend only on the economic-financial condition, but on the ability to take care. Recognizing my inability to exercise this care, I chose this conscious delivery and that I should be safe,” he wrote.

She also said that while she was still in the hospital, she was approached by a columnist who knew about the pregnancy but not the rape. A few days after giving birth, she said she was approached by another columnist. What motivated the release of the letter, according to the actress, was the repercussion of “people conspiring and creating versions of repulsive violence”.
