Acclaimed songwriter Pavlina Voulgarakis is welcomed by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), at the Panoramic Stairs, on Thursday, July 21 at 9 p.m., as part of the “Music Escapades” concert section, which is dedicated to the most modern trends in Greek music. The concert takes place with free admission thanks to the donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

Pavlina Voulgaraki, a performer who builds bridges between art and pop, presents in her concert at the SNFCC a tribute to great female voices that shaped her: from Sade, Stevie Nicks, PJ Harvey and Grace Slick, to Dimitra Galani, Haroula Alexiou, Arleta and Eleni Tsaligopoulou. In a program, specially designed for her concert at the SNFCC, with songs about “open summer sky”, conveying a message to “those who look up”.

With her is Tfatfy, an Athenian quartet-supergroup that reveals a different face of its members that we have met in other formats such as Modrec, Knight Night, Planet of Zeus, etc.

Only here Minas Liakos, Stelios Provis, Seraphim Giannakopoulos and Spyros Manesis bring out a fusion improvisational mood and move along jazz/funk paths.
