Anitta, 29, made a post on Twitter this Monday afternoon (11) revealing that she will vote for former President Lula in the October election. “This year I’m with Lula and anyone who wants my help to make him rock here on the Internet, tik tok, Twitter, instagram, just ask me that being within my reach and not being against the electoral law I will,” wrote the singer.
She declared her vote after the murder of PT candidate Marcelo Arruda, in Foz do Iguaçu, by a supporter of President Jair Bolsonaro, on Sunday. “If there wasn’t a death involved in this case of Lula’s supporter who was attacked by a Bolsonarista, I would say that the stupidity of these people is funny. But no. It’s terrifying,” began Anitta.
“I had said here on the networks that I would not support Lula in the elections because I wanted something new and different so that Brazil could experience a middle ground between the ideals of the population on both sides and really be able to try something different from what we have had in the past. EXTREMELY aggressive and anti-democratic proposal of these people leaves me no other option. It’s LULALÁ… you stupid, aggressors, authoritarian and violent”.
Lula’s official account shared one of the carioca’s posts and fired: “Let’s get Brazil involved together.”
