Anitta supports Lula, Latino goes with Bolsonaro, Brown explains himself: find out who the famous vote for

by

To position yourself politically or not? That is the question. With less than three months to go before the first round of the presidential election, artists who until then had chosen to remain neutral in the dispute between Lula (PT) and Jair Bolsonaro (PL) decided that exemption was enough. It’s time to raise flags – even if it’s a bit unwilling, as in the case of Carlinhos Brown.

Brown used his networks to confirm his vote for Lula after starring in a video in which he interrupts the ‘Fora, Bolsonaro’, led in chorus by the audience. “Sorry, it’s Brazil that got it right, I don’t get involved in this,” he said. Fans and followers pointed him out as “a variant of Bolsonarism”, criticizing his attitude, and Carlinhos then explained himself: “For those who still have doubts. I respect mine, I want @Lulaoficial”, he wrote on Saturday (9), marking the profile of the former president.

The artists’ reactions to the audience’s manifestations often speak for themselves or are the ideal “hook” for them to finally take a stand. In May, in Rio, Marisa Monte, until then a well of mystery about her political choice, also heard the public scream ‘Out, Bolsonaro’. And she: “I’m totally with you! ‘We’re together!’, said the singer, who also praised democracy and the electronic ballot box, a reason for the president’s questioning (without proof) about the fairness of the October vote.

A persistent critic of the Bolsonaro government, Anitta had kept her vote a secret, until this Monday (11) she told her more than 60 million followers that she not only supports Lula, but is willing to collaborate in the candidate’s campaign. “Anyone who wants my help to make it boom here on the internet, tik tok, Twitter, Instagram, just ask me that being within my reach and not being against the electoral law I will do”.

On the ideologically opposite side (among the loyal supporters of the current president) are actor Thiago Gagliasso -always willing to defend Bolsonarism in his networks-, presenter Ratinho and singer Latino. The latter and Bolsonaro, by the way, had lunch together at the end of May, at a steakhouse in Brasília, and the photos were proudly released by the singer of “Festa no apê”.

He told F5 that he was “excited” by the president’s “unspeakable charisma”, whom he has publicly supported on other occasions. “He’s the best we’ve got. Take it or freak out,” he teased. The reelection candidate is also on the rise with the country side of Brazilian singers, including musicians from several generations in this basket, such as Zé Neto, Zezé Di Camargo, Amado Batista, Chrystian, who formed a duo with his brother, Ralf, the singer Sérgio Reis. and the duos Bruno and Marrone, Mateus and Cristiano.

Of the cast of “Pantanal”, a telenovela that has been breaking audience records, most go to Lula and are keen to make that clear. Silvero Pereira, the butler Zaqueu of the plot, usually posts photos in which he campaigns for the PT. In one of them, he appears wrapped in a towel with the politician’s face. The image was liked by Irandhir Santos, Zé Luca, who also added heart emojis.

Camila Morgado (Irma), Dira Paes (Filó) and Osmar Prado, the Véio do Rio, have also declared their votes for Lula, as well as Pabllo Vittar, Daniela Mercury, Teresa Cristina, Duda Beat, Lenine, Chico César, Gilberto Gil and his family, Iza, Camila Pitanga (the theme of his birthday party was… Lula), among others. Pernambucanos are pro-Lula. The steering wheel Felipe Melo, from Fluminense, is one of the most active voices of Bolsonarism in football.

And the group of those who don’t even want to hear about any of them is headed by Luana Piovani. “The Brazilian should be studied. (…) In 2018, he made the current president the savior of the country. I voted for Marina Silva. Now they are putting the condemned man as the savior! I don’t vote for either of them”, declared the actress recently. to Veja magazine.
