Roberto Carlos loses patience with a fan in Rio: ‘Shut up, damn it’

by

Singer Roberto Carlos, 81, lost patience with a fan who was in the gargling queue at his show at Qualistage, in Rio de Janeiro, on Wednesday (13). The fan was screaming for attention so much that the king interrupted the classic song “How Great Is My Love For You” to tell him to shut up.

During the singer’s presentation, a boy shouted all the time: “My mother is here, look”. Annoyed, Roberto Carlos took advantage of the pause in the song’s melody, took his mouth away from the microphone and said: “Shut up, damn it.”

wanted by F5, the singer’s publicist explained that during the show a woman holding a large teddy bear and a man with a bouquet would get up all the time to try to deliver gifts to the king. But he is not picking up gifts or receiving fans in the dressing room due to the Covid pandemic.

According to the singer’s advice, gifts that fans leave on stage the assistant, who delivers the roses to the king, collects. But the singer no longer takes the pampering left by fans as he used to due to the pandemic.

In June, Roberto Carlos contracted Covid despite following all safety protocols since the beginning of the pandemic. He had several shows canceled.
