The American tennis legend is in Athens with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and their daughter, Olympia
Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, are enjoying family time in Greece! The 40-year-old, holder of 23 Grand Slam titles, posted pictures on social media of the pair enjoying a sightseeing tour of Athens with their four-year-old daughter, Olympia.
“Just the 3 of us,” Serena Williams captioned the post, with the family posing for a photo at the Acropolis. In a second shot, the pair are seen on a pedestrian street, with little Olympia looking directly into the camera from the safety of her father’s arms.
Before jetting off to Greece, the US tennis champion and Olympia enjoyed some mother-daughter time in the UK. The tennis veteran shared a sweet Instagram post during an outing together in London on July 10. It shows Serena wearing a chic black and white striped ensemble, while Olympia is dressed in a cute red summer themed dress.
The family of three have been spending time traveling since Williams’ match at Wimbledon, where she was eliminated after a first-round match against France’s Harmony Tan.
In a recent podcast, Alexis Ohanian talked about being a “dad entrepreneur” and what that means for his family. “I spent most of my life, most of my adult life, focusing, really, just on the career part, and then four years ago, I became a father. Things have changed. And this is the “lens” through which I view virtually every decision. I really want my daughter to see me working on something I’m really interested in and being passionate about something and caring about something“, he said.
In fact, Ohanian also joked that his daughter for now “he just thinks I make pancakes for a living».
