Singer Anitta used her networks this Saturday (16) to disallow the PT, the Workers’ Party, to use her name or image in the party’s campaigns, with the only exception being Lula, for whom she reaffirmed her support. In the second post of the thread published on her official Twitter account, Anitta uses the term ‘Valdemort’, the villain of the Harry Potter saga, to refer to President Jair Bolsonaro.
In it, she states that she supports former president Lula because polls indicate that he would be the only candidate capable of defeating the current president in the elections to be held in October. With the repercussion of the publication made by the singer, the candidate for reelection decided to share the message with his followers along with applause emojis.
Bolsonaro left out the part where he is called ‘Valdemort’, and he still had to resort to a print of Anitta’s post because it was blocked by the singer in April this year, when she even suggested to the president that he should “pick up what to do”.
In the thread, the singer also states that she will leave her political convictions for the next elections and that, at the moment, she is focused on avoiding Bolsonaro’s re-election. In addition, she makes it clear that she will still study who her votes for governor and deputies will go to.
Anitta declared her support for Lula on Monday (11) and made herself available to help the former president’s campaign using her influence and strength on social networks. Since then, the singer has made several publications on the subject.
