With the unique interpretations of Kostas Makedonas and Sofia Manos, the Greek Music Orchestra will present the culture and passion of the refugees of Asia Minor
THE Greek Music Orchestra (OEM) of the Church of Greece presents the musical performance entitled “MIKRASSIA LIVES”, as part of the Festival of the Region of Attica, in the Metropolitan Park of Antonis Tritsis, on Wednesday, July 27 at 9:00 p.m.
With his unique interpretations Costa Makedona and Sophia Manou, n Greek Music Orchestra will present the culture and passion of the refugees of Asia Minor, with his texts Dr. Elias Liamiwhich will remind us of the sorrows but also the joys of this culture.
Guided by Asia Minor music and songs by younger Greek composers who were inspired by the events, the viewer will travel back in time and remember unforgettable homelands and the vibrant Greek culture of Asia Minor through the narratives of Anna Liami.
The Dance Department of the Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios, Municipality of Agios Dimitrios participates with the choreography of the dance teacher Georgiou Golemis.
The show is organized by the Region of Attica.
