Alice Seabright, creator and director of Sex Education, returns in 2022 with the new series Chloe on the BBC and Amazon Prime Video. In the new Chloe series, the lives of two women are complicated in an unorthodox way
We first meet Becky, a young woman who still lives with her mother and does occasional chores. However, despite the reality she lives, she dreams of another way of life. Becky, like many others out there, has been dazzled by the life of an influencer, Chloe. She lives in her Pinterest home, with her perfect husband and perfect family. So Becky, watching Chloe’s flawless life for a long time, has started to envy her and wants to copy her.
Things start to get weird when Chloe suddenly dies. Becky then, wanting to enter her circle and escape from her own “miserable” life, acquires a new identity. So he starts impersonating Sasha, a woman of “good company”, in order to get closer to Chloe’s family and friends. Becky is convinced that Chloe’s death was not just an unfortunate event. So he has decided that he will reveal the whole truth by exposing Chloe’s environment.
Of course, Becky’s game is not long in coming
You see, Chloe is going to be a series full of twists and turns. In just 6 episodes, Becky manages to set up this game, but also to find herself entangled in her own lie. The series has already stood out from the very first images that were released. In fact, in the role of Becky / Sasha you will see Erin Doherty, whom you probably met through her participation in The Crown.
