Former Globo presenter Ivan Moré, 45, got scared last weekend in São Paulo. In a video on Instagram, he told of having suffered a robbery. He and the kids are fine.
“Unfortunately, something happened that had never happened here with me in São Paulo. I was robbed at gunpoint. They took everything. My phone, glasses, watch, chain,” he said.
Moré had to enlist the help of a friend who lent him a cell phone so that he could publish the outburst to his followers.
“I was caught off guard as I was putting my kids in the back of the car. I planned a special day, but unfortunately it didn’t go the way I expected.”
Moré said he took a lesson from all of this. “Let’s see these situations from the point of view of the glass half full. I’m grateful that nothing happened. It was a tense day, unfortunately,” he concluded.
Out of TV since May 2019, he said in an interview with F5 that the routine had changed, but that didn’t mean that I had idle time. He revealed that he had invested in other fronts and platforms in order to stay active and traveled the world.
“Since I left TV, my demand has practically tripled. I’ve been giving lectures all over Brazil, something that surprised me a lot. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in Silicon Valley [Califórnia, EUA]. I attended a training at Stanford and got to know the ecosystem of corporations that are breaking paradigms in our society,” said Moré.
If this expansion in his professional training was not enough, the journalist also stated that he was dedicated to his company, Pinax, a creative consultancy focused on the brand development market and lectures.
But whoever thinks that the lack of time brought him complicated challenges is wrong. On the contrary. Moré managed to get closer to his children. “Despite the routine, my flexible schedule has brought something extremely positive: I have time and opportunity to dedicate myself to my family. I am even more present in raising my children. Fatherhood is very enriching.”
