The talented one Maya Hawke, daughter of actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, we met her in the hit fantasy/horror series Stranger Things in a role that has been loved by audiences.
In addition to being an actress, the 24-year-old is also involved in singing, and already has an album to her credit, with the second one expected in September entitled Moss. The first song released is Thérèse, and the strictly juvenile, but beautiful, music video shows her participating in an orgy in the woods until the police intervene and arrest the participants. The video clip is directed by the American actor, director, screenwriter and producer Brady Corbett.
In an interview with Dazed, Hawke said: “Brady saw the video very clearly in his mind, but I can’t imagine he could have guessed how well his idea fit with what I wanted to reveal and express with the song… the feeling that loneliness is the worst thing, until you realize that it is far superior to bad company. About how free we are as children and then, as we go through adolescence, the culture crushes us and instead of being ourselves, we start trying to be like everyone else.”
