The new collection of artworks created by Johnny Depp sold out within hours of going on sale.

The 59-year-old actor created a limited-edition collection, according to the Castle Fine Art. The collection includes 780 works by the Hollywood actor.

For Johnny Depp there was always art. Before acting and before music, art has always been an important outlet for his creativity. The actor has been working on the Friends and Heroes collection for the past few months and has included the likes of Al Pacino, Bob Dylan, Elizabeth Taylor and Keith Richards in his bold portraits.

Depp focuses on people he has gotten to know well and who have inspired him as a person. Each image is an intimate reflection of their character in his eyes, a depiction of how they revealed themselves to him.

Speaking about his art, Depp stated: “I have always used art to express my feelings and reflect on those who matter most to me, such as my family, friends and people I admire».
