Isis Valverde, 35, announced that she is no longer a Globo employee. This Monday (1), she made a text revealing that she is leaving the station after 17 years and stressed that it was a “see you soon”. The actress did not have her fixed contract renewed with the company and now, like the vast majority of artists, she can be called to work for works.
“I never thought I would be ready for this ‘open letter’. But life goes on and with it new paths open and we move forward! That place hidden amidst giant rocks, magic, trees and waterfalls, turned into a house, family, a school for me,” she began on Instagram.
In the post, Isis shared a sequence of photos of some of her characters and thanked for the opportunities at Globo. “[A Globo foi] A place where I grew up in safety! In that house I made friends, built affections and reaped good fruits. It’s been 17 years with you, years of perfecting and maturing my art, which still has a long way to go. Today, I only have words to thank you”, explained the actress, whose last work was “Amor de Mãe”, a soap opera that ended in 2021.
She also ended the text implying that she does not rule out returning to the station in future projects. “This text is not a goodbye but a ‘see you soon’. The doors will always be open to new stories. This was just one chapter of our journey. May the next ones come! Gratitude! Signed: Your girl”.
