Tom Cruise, 60, apologized to couple Sarah and Jason Haygarth who walked with their dog at the top of High Crag, in the United Kingdom, when arriving by helicopter at the scene to shoot a scene from the movie “Mission: Impossible 7”.
They told The US Sun that they were taken by surprise by the actor. “Sorry to disturb your peaceful walk with all the noise. I like your dog,” Cruise told the couple.
Sarah says she asked the actor if he was going to jump off the cliff. “See you later guys,” Cruise yelled before running to the edge of the mountain to jump. She called Cruise “so cool”.
Jason said he was happy to meet the famous actor. “Before that, the most famous person I ever met was [o jornalista inglês] Richard Madeley.” He added: “I ended up peeing next to him on men. That beats that by a country mile.”
It is suspected that Cruise was filming for the last part of “Mission: Impossible”. A source told Page Six, the actor is looking to buy a house in London, in the upscale Kensington area.
Cruise recently attended Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, the British Grand Prix and Wimbledon this summer, proof that he is obviously enjoying the UK.
Moving abroad would also make sense for Cruise, as his 29-year-old daughter Isabella – who he shares with ex-wife Nicole Kidman – lives in Croydon.
