Kid Bengala launches electoral campaign with puns: ‘Like all Brazilians’

The porn actor Clóvis Basílio dos Santos, 67, better known by his stage name, Kid Bengala, announced on Wednesday night (17), the beginning of his election campaign. He is a candidate for the post of federal deputy for the União Brasil party.

“Like Lucas, like João, like José, like Ricardo, also like Flávia, like Maria, like Joice, anyway, I, like all Brazilians, I’m fed up with so much dirty politics. That’s why, like you, I decided to innovate to put my dick in this mess”, he said in the video in which he announces his candidacy.

“You can bet I’m going to go in with everything,” he added, in the publication made on his TikTok profile. The video already has more than 12,000 likes and 700 comments. “Already got my vote,” wrote one. “I should become president,” said another. “My vote is guaranteed”, pointed out yet a third.

This is not the first time the actor has run for office. In the year 2020, he ran for councilor in São Paulo, for the PTB, and also used sexual puns, saying that his campaign was “jack of all trades”.

At the time, he got just over 1,000 votes. In the year 2008, when he tried to get elected for the first time, he had only 902 votes. He also ran for state deputy in 2014 and was defeated after receiving only 1,106 votes.
