After the interview with Jornal Nacional (Globo) this Monday (22), President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), candidate for reelection, made some publications on his Instagram profile. In one of them, he appears next to a television connected to the SBT channel.
“Backstage Rede Globo. Good night everyone!”, he wrote in the caption of the publication. The photo already has more than 800 thousand likes and 30 thousand comments from internet users. “Course in debauchery,” wrote one. On social media, the interview yielded memes and criticism.
Felipe Neto posted on his Twitter profile that Bolsonaro is a compulsive liar. “A scoundrel, bad character, trained to deceive his subjects,” wrote the content creator. One internet user commented that by the end of the interview Bolsonaro would get lost, because he doesn’t hold a lie for a long time. “Bolsonaro cursed, Bolsonaro a liar, Bolsonaro demonic.”
“Bolsonaro is ruling the country from a home office in the Maldives. It is not possible that we are living in the same country”, wrote a user on the social network. “Mom saying she wasn’t going to watch the interview with Bolsonaro so as not to give him an audience. My mother is the best”, commented an internet user.
The Saturday with Bolsonaro also yielded memes on the social network. One of them used a photo of Inês Brasil with a paper in her hand showing something saying that she is not lying after presenter Renata Vasconcellos confronted the president about making fun of people with Covid during the pandemic. Bolsonaro was the first of the four best-placed candidates for the Presidency of the Republic to be questioned by William Bonner and Renata Vasconcellos.
