American actress Anne Heche was trapped for 45 minutes in her burning car before being rescued by firefighters. The new information about the accident that caused Heche’s death was obtained by the NBC4 LA vehicle.

On August 5, the actress was driving at high speed when she lost control and crashed into a house, causing a fire. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to approach the car and another 20 minutes to get the vehicle out of the burning house and rescue Heche, according to Los Angeles Fire Department records.

The fire chief said it was difficult to see inside the car and access it due to the intensity of the fire and smoke. Professionals arrived at the crash site at 11:01 am, but only confirmed that there was a person inside the car at 11:25 am.

After the accident, she was in a coma for six days and was brain dead on August 12, when the devices were turned off.

Coroners attributed the cause of death to “inhalation and thermal injuries”. The report also lists “fracture of the sternum due to blunt trauma”, which is called a “significant condition” in his death.

The funeral was held on August 18, and Anne Heche’s remains were interred at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, United States.
