Since the first information about “Travessia” appeared, the name of actress Juliana Paiva was one of those appointed to be part of the cast of Gloria Perez’s soap opera. This Sunday (4), she reinforced that she was never invited to act in the plot.
It was even reported that Juliana would have been passed over by Jade Picon for the role of Chiara in the story directed by Mauro Mendonça Filho. “There was no such thing. There was no invitation,” she said, in one of the boxes at Rock in Rio.
The hiring of Jade as an actress for Globo’s next nine o’clock soap opera has provoked controversy in the artistic world.
The president of Sated-RJ (Union of Artists and Technicians in Entertainment Shows of the State of Rio de Janeiro), Hugo Gross, even told the F5 that, if necessary, she would go to court, but Jade would not be cast without having the professional registration of the category, the DRT.
Subsequently, the entity granted the influencer a special authorization so that she can act in the plot that will replace “Pantanal” from October.
“We gave a special authorization. A specific permission for her to act on a certain product [novela] and with expiration date. Work’s over, done. She will not have the right to professional registration when the plot ends”, commented Hugo Gross.
