After being accused by the influencer and comedian Pequena Lô of being rude at Rock in Rio and of having supposedly had a capableist look at her disability, model Ellen Jabour said on her social media that she was misinterpreted.
In Lô’s version, who needs to get around by means of an electric motorbike, she tried to get a space in front of the railing of a VIP space, but she would have been despised by Ellen, who would be more concerned about staying in the place with her friends than make room for her.
The model claims that she never intended to hurt the influencer. “I’m peaceful, I always respected everyone around me, without distinctions. There was enough space for everyone there, and I was 100% interested in watching the show in harmony with everyone,” she said.
According to her, what happened “was a big mistake, maybe even due to the loud music”. Ellen feels she was misunderstood. “I thought she hadn’t seen that I was with the group on my right and I said, ‘Of course, of course! But do you mind parking it? [a motinho] here on my left side?'” he said.
“I feel deeply hurt to have been accused of things that would be far from my thoughts to do purposefully. I’ve been in the media for over 20 years and everyone knows I’m not one to make trouble.”, amended Ellen.
The model said she regretted that Pequena Lô felt bad and said that she helps several NGOs that help to promote education, respect and awareness.
