Lula wins new video with support from celebrities like Marquezine and Malu Mader

Just eight days before the elections, former president and presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) won another support video full of TV and music celebrities with the slogan “turns into a vote”. Bruna Marquezine, Malu Mader, Felipe Camargo, Sérgio Guizé and Ziraldo are among them.

As in the previous video, the artists change the handgun sign, a reference to Bolsonaro, to an “L” for Lula. The lyrics of the song, in addition to the chorus “turns into a vote, turns into turns into”, speaks of “resistance and hope”. “Look to the future, take a pencil and take the gun away from the child,” she says.

The video was shared by actress Alinne Moraes, who appeared to support Lula in another video with the same song, released a few days ago. On the occasion, they also gave support to famous PT members such as Caetano Veloso, Arnaldo Antunes, Mart’nália, Cláudia Abreu and Zezé Polessa.

This first video “Vira Voto” ended up being adulterated and shared by Bolsonaro supporters with the artists holding a gun and with the word “thief” when they make the L of the PT candidate. “Now L is for thief,” wrote a supporter of the president on Twitter.

Last week, artists also released a song against the candidacy of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) for reelection. The clip, entitled “Hymn to the Inominável”, was composed by Carlos Rennó and melody by Chico Brown and Pedro Luís, and featured Bruno Gagliasso and Wagner Moura.

The election campaign remains hot among artists. In recent days, Lula has gained public support from names like Fernanda Lima and Rodrigo Hilbert. Actress Regina Duarte, who was Bolsonaro’s minister, said that “the rejection of President [Bolsonaro] is due to complete ignorance”.
