Post Malone, 27, is not as recovered as fans thought. The rapper, who suffered a fall on stage last week, canceled the show he was due to perform in Boston, in the United States, just an hour before the scheduled time due to pain in the rib area.
With a post on his social networks, the musician, who performed at Rock in Rio earlier this month, apologized to fans and said he was in the hospital. “I’m having a really hard time breathing, and I feel excruciating pain whenever I breathe or move,” he said.
Malone suffered a bad fall on the 17th, when he was performing in Saint Louis, in the United States. He went down a ramp and fell into a hole that was not properly covered. His face and body slammed to the ground, as fan-filmed videos show. He was rescued by paramedics.
After the episode, Malone’s manager and, later, the rapper himself tried to reassure fans that he hadn’t broken anything. “I just got back from the hospital. It’s okay, they gave me painkillers. We’re going to keep kicking ass on the tour,” he said at the time.
In Saturday’s statement, however, Malone said he was fine the day before, but he heard a “crack” in his side when he woke up and that he was having trouble breathing. “With this pain, I can’t do the show tonight,” he said, who was in the hospital.
He apologized to fans and promised that the tickets would be valid for a later performance, which he was already trying to book. “I feel awful, but I promise I’ll make it up to you. I love you, Boston, and I’ll see you soon.”
