The first part of the new cycle is expected to be released on Netflix on February 10

The Netflix series “You” has introduced us in recent years to one of the creepiest heroes we’ve ever met. Penn Badgley playing Joe knows very well how to make us unable to predict his next move. Now we have the official release date of the fourth season of the series and a trailer that foreshadows all the strange things that will happen in this cycle as well.

In the new season of “You”, Joe is now in London

After what happened in the last episode of season 3, Joe left not only the city but also the country and fled to London. There he changed his identity and somehow managed to become a professor namely Professor Jonathan Moore. As he says, “moving to London allowed him to bury his past”, literally and figuratively.

So this time Joe seems to be determined to make a new beginning and not waste himself in love affairs and excesses. Or at least that’s what he’s trying to convince us of. He even makes various hints about colleagues that he will have to face in this new professional environment and the truth is that we can’t even imagine what is going to happen there.

In the cast of the series we will see many new additions

In fact, the only familiar face from a previous season we see in the new trailer is that of Marienne, who looks like she’ll be back in Joe’s life this season as well, or rather Joe will be the one to do anything to stay around her. Additionally, Charlotte Ritchie will play Kate, the new woman who will be the center of Joe’s world. So far all we know about Kate is that she is a very intelligent and therefore suspicious woman who doesn’t open up to anyone other than those she already considers her friends.

The first part of the new cycle is expected to be released on Netflix on February 10.
