MC Don Juan is sentenced to pay R$15,000 to the woman exposed by him in 2018

The São Paulo Court sentenced funk artist Matheus Wallace Mendonça da Cruz, MC Don Juan, 20, to pay R$15,000 to a young woman who was exposed by him on his social networks in 2018. On the occasion, a photo caption in which she appeared suggested that the girl had had sex with the musician’s security guard. The information was disclosed by UOL’s Rogério Gentile column and confirmed by F5.

According to the Court of Justice of São Paulo, the indemnity is for moral damages. Besides him, Juan’s then manager was another person who was ordered to pay an additional R$5,000 for having shared the image, but without captions. Sought, MC Don Juan had not yet responded to requests.

Both can still appeal, and any appeal must be filed within ten days from the date of acknowledgment of the judgment.
