The Flatshare tells the story of Tiffy and Leon
The story of The Flatshare begins with a rather paradoxical deal. Tiffy and Leon are around 25 and with the salaries from their jobs they can’t possibly stay alone in London. So they decide to share a one-bedroom apartment, with the proviso that they will never meet due to different schedules. Their communication is based almost exclusively on some post-it notes they leave for each other. Very quickly, however, things get complicated and they begin to learn about each other information that certainly cannot fit on a single post-it. This of course brings them closer, with the result that apart from sharing the same bed, they also share very important parts of their lives.
If the classic rom-com had been born in the 21st century
This would be a very good description to talk about this particular story. The Flatshare manages to be quite comedic and realistic at the same time, with many tender and touching moments throughout its run. The series that will be based on it is expected to be like this. Jessica Brown Findlay is set to play Tiffy, while Leon will be played by Anthony Welsh.
