Applications from interested beneficiaries and providers will be submitted by Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
Today, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., the submission of electronic applications for beneficiaries and providers for the Public Employment Service’s entertainment check program for the winter season 2022-2023 begins.
Applications from interested beneficiaries and providers will be submitted by Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
As stated in an announcement by DYPA, the purpose of the program is the intellectual development of the workforce, the stimulation of artistic creation and the support of theater companies.
A total of up to 220,000 vouchers will be issued, based on the number of seats offered by the providers. The maximum value of the checks is 15 euros for the main stages and 12 euros for the children’s stages. The total budget amounts to 3 million euros.
With the cheque, beneficiaries and beneficiaries can attend the theater performance of their choice from the DYPA Provider Register, without paying any additional amount.
Applications are submitted exclusively online, through the Single Digital Portal of the Greek Government gov.gr, here.

In cases where supporting documents are required, these are attached to the online applications.
Beneficiaries are employed and unemployed who in 2021 accumulated 50 days:
- of work in the e-EFKA insurance (t. IKA-ETAM) or
- special provision of maternity protection or
- unemployment benefit or long-term unemployment or
- combination of the above
Beneficiaries are also unemployed persons registered in the DYPA’s Register of Unemployed persons who have a continuous period of unemployment at the end of the application deadline of at least four months.
Beneficiaries of the program are the spouses of the beneficiaries, when they are indirectly insured members, as well as the children of the beneficiaries over the age of three, provided that they are indirectly insured members of their own or the other parent.
The selection system is based on the scoring of beneficiaries based on their income and the order of priority of submitting their application.
Providers of the program are theater companies of any legal form, operating in accordance with current legislation.
Provider applications are submitted exclusively online, through the Single Digital Portal of the Greek Government gov.gr, at the online address: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ergasia-kai-asphalise/apozemioseis-kai-parokhes/parokhoi- epitagon-theamatos.

Providers participate in the program by offering a certain number of square seats to watch the shows that will be staged in their theaters during the 2022-2023 winter season.
Providers who want to apply for multiple theaters must have DYPA codes. The supporting documents for participation are attached to the online applications.
